Kolejny weekend w Korei i udało mi się wyciągnąć Piotrka do Coex Akwarium w Seulu. Akwarium znajduje się w centrum Coex, mniej więcej w południowo wschodniej części śródmieścia. Tam znajduje się największe podziemne centrum handlowe w Azji. Oprócz sklepów, restauracji czy akwarium, znajduje się tam też multikino, spora księgarnia, i Muzeum Kimchi.
Dojazd do Coex trochę nam zajął ale warto było. Akwarium jest bardzo fajnie zrobione, dużo gatunków ryb, akwaria słodko wodne i morskie, śmieszne akwaria typu akwarium w skrzynce na listy, w gaśnicy, albo akwarium w lodówce czy pralce lub w muszli klozetowej (ale ryby chyba ktoś spłukał bo nic w niej nie pływało). Oprócz ryb są tam też nietoperze, wydry, gady, płazy, a nawet małpy i pieski preriowe, i żółw z dwiema głowami!
Wstęp do Akwarium kosztuje 17,500 WON (około 46 PLN).
Another weekend in Korea and I managed to drag Piotr out of bed again, and we went to visit Coex Aquarium in Seoul. The Aquarium is situated in Coex Centre in the south east part of downtown Seoul. There is the largest underground shopping centre in Asia, plus there are also a lot of restaurants, multiplex cinema, huge bookstore and Kimchi Museum.
To get to Coex takes some time from Bucheon but it was worth it. The whole Aquarium is really nicely done and organised, there are a lot of different species of fish, sweet and salt water fish tanks, as well as funny arrangements such as a fish tank in a fridge or in a washing machine, in a fire extinguisher or in a toilet bowl (but there were no fish in the last one, I think someone must have had flushed them). Besides sea life, there are also bats, otters, reptiles, amphibians, monkeys and prairie dogs, and the most interesting - a two heads turtle!
The entry is 17,500 WON (about £10).

At the end of our visit at Coex we met a lady with a cute little dog so it was Maya’s first close encounter with a dog ;)
