Wczoraj poszliśmy na kolację w czwórkę (nasza trójca i Eleven) bo reszta ekipy została jeszcze w biurze. Ja zjadłam spory lunch więc nie byłam bardzo głodna, więc Piotrek i Eleven zdecydowali się na owoce morza. Ja nie jestem zbytnim fanem takiego jadła, krewetki zjem, i czasem przegrzebki ale fanem ośmiornic czy krabów nie jestem.
Kolację zjadali Piotr i Eleven a ja trochę poskubałam przystawek. To co oni zamówili to 3 ośmiornice na patyku a raczej na pałeczkach drewnianych - nasadzona głowa ośmiornicy na pałeczki i reszta ośmiornicy owinięta wokół pałeczek (fuj!), przyprawione jakimś zdaje się sezamowym sosem.
Do tego główne danie - pani przyniosła wielki gar i postawiła na palniku wbudowanym w stół. Zapaliła gaz pod garem i czekaliśmy aż sie wszystko razem ugotuje i przejdzie sobą. W garze jak sie okazało są ośmiornice.... ale jeszcze żywe.
Last night, three of us and Eleven, went to a seafood place to have dinner.The rest of Piotr’s team stayed longer in the office. I had a big lunch earlier so wasn’t that hungry, so Piotr and Eleven decided to have some proper seafood. I am not a big fan of seafood, although I would eat prawns or scallops but I don’t really fancy octopuses or crabs.
The food was eaten by Piotr and Eleven, while I nibbled at some side dishes. The food they ordered were octopuses on a stick, and rather an octopus head stuck on chopsticks and then the rest of its body wrapped around them... yuk!, in some sort of sesame sauce.
The main dish was a big pot of sea food - the waitress brought it and put it on the gas burner in the middle of the table. She lit the gas and covered the pot and we waited till everything cooks. Well, it turned out that the octopuses inside are.... still alive.
Obie z Eleven się wystraszyłyśmy trochę, a Eleven miała minę jakby chciała zaraz uciec ;)
Oprócz ośmiornic w garze był krab, przergrzebki, duże krewetki, małże, i sporo kimchi, grzybków, tofu i przypraw. Pomimo tego jak już się wszystko ugotowało, i było napewno martwe, Piotrek z Eleven zjadali wszystko dzielnie; ja nie mogłam.
Me and Eleven got sort of scared when we saw these, and Eleven looked like she would shortly run far far away :)
The pot was full of octopuses, crabs, scallops, prawns, mussels, a lot of kimchi, mushrooms, tofu and spices. In spite of that, once everything cooked and was definitely dead, she and Piotr ate most of the food ordered.
Mówcie co chcecie, ale po wczorajszej wizycie w tej restauracji , owoce morza nadal mnie nie kręcą ;)
You can say what you want, but after last night’s visit at that restaurant, I still don’t fancy eating seafood ;)
